Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Specialist Solutions Engineer to guide customers in building big data solutions on the Databricks platform. The role involves hands‑on cloud infrastructure and security work, supporting field pre‑sales teams, and shaping technical roadmaps to expand Databricks usage.

You will lead production‑level cloud native workloads, contribute to security lakehouse initiatives, and deliver workshops to promote platform adoption across diverse customers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience designing Cloud infrastructure/Security and services across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience architecting, designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud networks and connectivity (VPC/VNet design, routing, segmentation, private connectivity).
• Identity & Access Management with least privilege, IAM integration with IdPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to guide strategic customers through architectural and security best practices.
• Assist Solution Architects with advanced aspects of pre-sales such as custom PoCs and workload sizing.
• Architect production‑level cloud infrastructure/workloads and enable adoption through workshops and presentations.
