Job summary

Wlgroup in Den Haag is seeking a full stack engineer to own features from idea to production within a small Scrum team. You will balance frontend and backend work, crafting Angular TypeScript interfaces alongside Java Spring services and automated tests.

You will work across SQL/NoSQL data stores and real-time feeds, manage the build and delivery chain with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Jira, and participate in Scrum ceremonies to refine ideas into shippable features.

Qualifications

• A degree in computer science or a close engineering subject.
• Two+ years with Angular 10+ and the same with Spring 5+.
• Strong automated testing habits and familiarity with XML/JSON, Git, Maven, Jenkins.
• Comfort on Linux (RHEL or Oracle) and networking basics (TCP/UDP/SSH).
• Nice to have: WebSockets with STOMP, real-time data visualization, RPM packaging, tactical data links, Scrum experience.
• Proficient professional English and ability to work in an international team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, operate, and maintain web applications for frontend and backend with equal care.
• Build Angular front ends in TypeScript with associated HTML/CSS work.
• Develop Java services using Spring and Spring Boot with automated tests (unit, component, functional, integration).
• Work with SQL/NoSQL stores and real-time data feeds used by the applications.
• Manage the build and delivery chain: Git, Maven, Jenkins, Jira, packaging on Linux.
• Participate in Scrum rituals and help the product owner turn ideas into shippable features.
