Job summary

Sunweb Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape the architecture and scale of our cloud-native platform. You will design and build Azure-based applications, balance speed with quality, and mentor the team in modern software practices.

You’ll work in a hybrid Rotterdam Girona setting, collaborating with product teams to deliver real impact and define technical direction for the group.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience building cloud-native applications on Azure.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling.
• Solid understanding of system design and clean architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with legacy systems and modernization.
• Ability to balance speed and quality pragmatically.
• Ownership mindset and drive to improve systems and processes.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience mentoring others and influencing technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, cloud-native applications on Azure.
• Own technical decisions and contribute to architecture.
• Improve and modernize existing (legacy) systems.
