Redwood Software Netherlands B.V. is hiring a Senior Backend Software Developer to design and implement scalable Java services on the RunMyJobs platform. You will shape backend architecture, deliver secure integrations, and improve performance across mission-critical processes.

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Strong experience with Java 11/17+ and Spring Boot.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Contribute to distributed system architecture, including service boundaries, data flows, asynchronous processing, and fault tolerance.
• Design and optimize relational data models, queries, and persistence layers for performance and integrity.
• Build and maintain integrations with enterprise systems, cloud services, and external APIs.
• Own backend features through design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvement.
• Apply secure coding practices, authentication and authorization controls, and sound API design to protect customer data and services.
• Improve service reliability through observability, performance tuning, automated testing, and effective incident investigation.
• Lead technical discussions, review code, and help make architectural decisions that support long-term maintainability and scale.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and encourage practical, responsible use of AI-assisted development tools.
