Job summary

SOURCE.ME in the Netherlands seeks a senior engineering leader to own delivery across cross-functional projects. You will mentor teams, drive standards, and partner with leadership as the company scales.

You will grow into the full remit over 3–6 months, with C-level backing to own strategy, hiring decisions, and cross-department alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior-level C#/.NET engineering experience.
• Hands-on Azure: Functions, Service Bus, event-driven patterns.
• IaC with Bicep or Terraform; strong CI/CD discipline.
• Solid integration/APIs experience.
• Demonstrated informal leadership: mentoring and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on OKRs and clear blockers to keep teams moving.
• Mentor engineers and drive skills development.
• Lead hiring and shape team structure.

• People - 1:1s, development reviews, real coaching on skills and accountability
• Team shape - spotting capability gaps, leading hiring, making the harder calls
• Alignment - across departments, and with where the company is heading
• Strategy - a seat at the table advising leadership on how the organisation scales

Qualifications

You bring:

• 5+ years engineering C#/.NET at senior level
• Azure ecosystem hands-on, Azure Functions, Service Bus / event-driven patterns, and the serverless mindset that comes with them
• Infrastructure as Code (Bicep or Terraform) and solid CI/CD habits
• Strong integration/API experience
• Evidence of informal leadership: mentoring, leading projects, driving standards

Domain-wise, the complexity here lives between companies, protocols, partners, edge cases across borders.
