Job summary

Clever Recruiting is helping a developer tooling client locate a Senior Software Engineer to build and evolve plugins for VS Code and IntelliJ, and to advance a language server and AI-driven tooling.

You will be integrating AI agent frameworks and improving verification and analysis tools, collaborating across a distributed team in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

One of our clients, a developer tooling company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer

This will be an exciting opportunity if you:

In this role, you will:

• Build and evolve VS Code and IntelliJ IDEA plugins for one of the client projects
• Develop our language server, including analysis, completion, diagnostics, and verification.
• Improve the evaluator that turns specs into code and catches spec and code drift.
• Integrate ThinkRail with AI agent frameworks (e.g. Koog, LangGraph, and Spring AI) and protocols like MCP and ACP.
