Job summary

ASML is seeking a Senior Security Risk Manager for the Sensitive Intellectual Property Domain in the Netherlands. You will lead risk management for highly confidential engineering information, collaborating with engineering, business and IT to bolster protection across the lifecycle.

You will define governance, controls and monitoring improvements, assess risks, and guide mitigation actions while advising stakeholders on protecting critical IP assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in information security risk management.
• Experience with risk assessment, treatment, and control design.
• Knowledge of information security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 31000).
• Experience protecting confidential data or intellectual property.
• Familiarity with access management and secure collaboration practices.
• Experience with tools or technologies such as risk registers, security monitoring systems, or governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk management for highly sensitive intellectual property within the domain.
• Define and drive improvements in governance, controls, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, IT, and security stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks aligned with risk appetite.
