Job summary

ASML in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Security Risk Manager for the Sensitive Intellectual Property Domain to protect critical innovations across our global programs.

You will lead risk management for highly sensitive IP, define governance, and collaborate with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to implement effective controls and drive continuous improvement within the R&D Security Risk Management team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in information security risk management.
• Experience with risk assessment, treatment, and control design.
• Knowledge of information security standards (ISO 27001, ISO 31000).
• Experience protecting confidential data or intellectual property.
• Familiarity with access management and secure collaboration practices.
• Experience with tools/technologies such as risk registers, security monitoring systems, or governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk management for highly sensitive intellectual property within the domain.
• Define and drive improvements in governance, controls, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, IT, and security stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks aligned with risk appetite.
• Support implementation of mitigation actions and track progress.
• Maintain oversight of control effectiveness and risk insights.
• Advise stakeholders on protecting sensitive engineering information.
