Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Security Engineer based in the Netherlands to protect a real-time, cloud-based fraud prevention platform for regulated industries. You will own security assurance and compliance programs across AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitHub environments, strengthening access control and threat detection.

You will lead ISO 27001, ISO 42001, SOC 2, and PCI DSS initiatives, automate evidence collection, and drive security governance with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional security engineering experience, esp. in cloud environments.
• Strong AWS security services knowledge: IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF.
• Hands-on Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions with secure CI/CD workflows.
• Proficient in Python for automating evidence collection and security tasks.
• Experience leading ISO 27001 or SOC 2 programs and audits.
• Ability to manage customer security questionnaires and vendor assessments.
• Excellent written English and ability to document security controls clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design automated evidence collection pipelines across AWS, GitHub, CI/CD, and identity tools.
• Automate access reviews and strengthen identity governance across platforms.
• Identify IAM weaknesses and promote short-lived identities with clear ownership.
• Develop Terraform/CI/CD security controls and standardized baselines.
• Investigate security alerts from AWS and Kubernetes; coordinate incident response.
• Develop detections using CloudTrail, GuardDuty, WAF, and telemetry data.
• Lead security certification programs and coordinate with external auditors.
• Manage customer questionnaires and third-party vendor security reviews.
