Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Stamp Press Operator at Plant 4, Holland, MI. You will operate up to 800 ton stamping presses, reference Job Element Sheets, and ensure quality parts per standards. You will use Plex ERP for documentation and support packing, labeling, and daily production goals.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to production schedules, with shifts including early and night options. Physical effort includes lifting up to 40 pounds and long periods standing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Experience operating stamping presses preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English to follow work instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping press to meet daily and weekly production requirements.
• Load correct blank sheets per JES and job element sheets.
• Perform quality checks and record data in Plex ERP.
• Pack and label parts according to customer requirements.
• Maintain area safety and housekeeping; participate in cross-training as needed.
