Job summary

InnoCore Technologies B.V. in Groningen, The Netherlands, seeks a Senior Scientist in Analytical Development to advance analytical methods for complex sustained‑release formulations, including polymers and APIs.

You will lead method development, validation, and collaboration across product life cycles with minimal supervision. You will coordinate analyses of stability samples and materials, design robust study plans, interpret data, and support decision-making.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in analytical chemistry, (bio)chemistry, (bio)pharmaceutical sciences or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant analytical experience, or demonstrated equivalent expertise.
• Authorized to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and validation of analytical methods for polymers, APIs and complex parenteral sustained release formulations.
• Coordinate stability, raw materials, intermediates and finished product analyses and troubleshoot as needed.
• Design study plans, interpret results, and present findings clearly to customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams led by a Project Manager.
• Contribute to meeting project requirements and align with Target Product Profiles.
• Represent analytical work in client meetings with scientific rationale and implications.
• Explore new analytical applications and services to support polymers, formulations and process strategies.
• Select and coordinate installation, qualification, calibration and maintenance of equipment.
