Overview

We are looking for a supply chain professional who would like to work in an ambitious international team and loves the mix between operational work and transformational projects.

Senior S&OP Analyst will be located at our Amsterdam office. This role will be a 1-year fixed-term contract with the potential to transition to a permanent contract based on performance. Visit our main website to learn more about Tyson Foods!

Function

The S&OP department contributes to optimizing business revenues, costs and working capital, by matching demand with our supply capabilities and securing an uninterrupted Order to Cash process. This role is responsible and acts as a linking pin between other departments, such as Commercial Sales Analysts, Procurement, Inbound Logistics, Customs, Operations, Replenishment, and Customer Service.

Responsibilities
  • Balance the demand and the supply for short, mid, and long term to ensure the business meets agreed customer service level targets at minimum operating cost and optimum stock level;
    • Provide input to procurement and collaborate to build an optimum supply planning from external suppliers;
    • Collaborate with Tyson manufacturing entities to ensure the correct supply planning is created;
    • Coordinate with business stakeholders on product shortage, conflicts related to product availability or excess inventory to ensure the optimum overall outcome for the company, minimum customer disruption and keep inventories under control;
    • Responsible for the Supply Review meeting: planning, preparation and communication of the actions and decisions agreed during the meeting;
    • Document and follow up the decisions taken during the Supply review meeting;
    • Prepare, plan, communicate and revise the supply planning and inventory quarterly cycle and annual budget process;
    • Maintain the planning parameters as inventory policies and lead times for the portfolio assigned;
    • Maintain and continuously improve the tools used to create the supply planning;
  • Develop and maintain business process documentation and procedures for the supply process;
  • Drive improvements related to system upgrades or process optimization, coordinating between different functions when necessary;
  • Participate in and coordinate various improvement projects related to cost optimization or other business results targets.
Qualifications
Education
  • At least a bachelor’s degree in business, or supply chain
  • Supply chain certifications such as CPIM preferred
Work Experience
  • 5 years or more of relevant experience in a supply chain, manufacturing environment or finance role
  • Experience dealing with different levels of the organization from operational levels to senior management
