Job summary

CAF is seeking a Commissioning Manager - Rollingstock to oversee technical, quality and engineering issues during planning and execution of testing and commissioning for rolling stock projects. The role requires coordinating with the client and CAF departments, with testing and final assembly teams.

The position is based in Eindhoven with a subsequent move to Groningen through 2032, and relocation within the Netherlands is expected.

Qualifications

• Possess a tertiary qualification or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• Willing to relocate within the Netherlands to Amsterdam and Roosendaal.
• Experience prioritising and managing multiple deadlines with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to translate complex technical information.
• Experience with MS Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requests and coordinate internal team for appropriate actions.
• Lead the establishment of the overall success criteria for the testing & commissioning phase of the projects.
• Manage the integration of testing & commissioning work streams and resolve key interface issues.
• Coordinate external resources from departments involved in testing & commissioning and procure or request them from the customer.
• Ensure the projects adhere to Dutch legislation and company policy; ensure Health, Safety & Environment compliance.
