Job summary

Monks in Amsterdam (global production partner) is seeking a Retoucher/VFX Compositor to craft seamless visual work for leading agencies and brands. You’ll handle compositing, tracking, matte extraction, layering, and color matching across AI-generated footage and 3D renders.

You will collaborate with our BA team and other offices, contributing to planning, shot visualization, and timely delivery. Proficiency with NUKE, PSD, AE and a keen eye for detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on compositing and retouching experience.
• Familiar with commercial production workflows and post-production teams.
• Knowledge of AI generation tools and how they fit into workflows.
• Proficient with NUKE, PSD and AE, plus willingness to learn new tools.
• Up-to-date on AI innovations in video and image production.
• Clean, readable scripts and collaborative mindset.
• Ability to provide time estimates and contribute in planning.

Responsibilities

• Craft seamless visual work for agencies and brands.
• Handle tracking, matte extraction, layering, and color matching.
• Retouch AI-generated and product images for social content.
• Work on composite shots from AI footage, cameras, or 3D renders.
• Collaborate with BA team across offices to deliver high-quality output.
• Contribute to shot planning and visualize ideas for clients.
• Work at scale with large asset volumes.
• Provide technical assessments and recommendations to clients and coworkers.
