Job summary

Partner Company in the Netherlands seeks a senior Software Engineer (Python) to design and implement programmable networking APIs and orchestration. You will build async Python services that provision real network resources across global Points of Presence, using BGP, VRFs, WireGuard, GRE, and cloud interconnects.

You will own systems from API design through orchestration, configuration delivery, observability, and production operations in a fast-paced environment with strong ownership over

Qualifications

• Strong production/API design experience.
• Async Python development experience.
• Hands-on networking knowledge (BGP/VRFs).
• Automation and configuration-drift detection experience.
• PostgreSQL schema design and queues in production.
• Experience with Ansible and SSH tooling.
• Experience with Envoy/xDS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve programmable networking APIs and resources.
• Develop the network orchestration control plane with async Python services.
• Automate network infrastructure using Ansible and SSH tooling.
• Integrate with cloud providers and interconnects (AWS/Azure/GC).
• Contribute to Go-based Envoy xDS control-plane services.
