Job summary

ABN AMRO Clearing is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to build scalable, cloud-native systems on AWS, focusing on serverless and container-based architectures. You will work with fellow engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-performing solutions.

You bring 6+ years of Python experience, strong software engineering fundamentals, and a passion for craftsmanship. The role includes architectural ownership within an Agile, product-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Strong command of software engineering fundamentals and clean code practices.
• Meticulous attention to detail in code, reviews, and production operations.
• Experience building on AWS with serverless and container architectures.
• Experience with SQL and relational or NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scalable, well-architected cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical decisions and architecture.
• Own end-to-end delivery from design to production operations.
• Contribute to architectural direction and hands-on delivery.
