Job summary

Itproposal in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Python Developer to join the BB8 team within Development Tooling. You will design and build a Python-based front-end solution for the Box.com SaaS platform, enabling internal users to manage content securely and intuitively.

This DevOps–oriented role collaborates with Confluence, Jira Align, and AURA to transform complex backend capabilities into user-friendly interfaces and drive ongoing improvements across enterprise tooling.

Qualifications

Strong experience as a Python developer.
Frontend development using Python frameworks.
Experience with APIs and SaaS integrations.
Affinity with developer tooling or enterprise platforms.
Understanding of security and compliance requirements.
Proactive, collaborative, and user-focused mindset.
English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Design and develop a Python-based front-end for Box.com integrations.
Improve usability, accessibility, and user experience across internal tooling.
Ensure all solutions meet security, compliance, and governance standards.
Support users, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous platform improvements.
Collaborate within a DevOps team managing Confluence, Jira Align, AURA, and Box.com.
Contribute to additional applications managed by the BB8 team once the Box.com front-end is delivered.
