Job summary

APG is seeking a PySpark/Databricks Developer to join our international Responsible Investments team. You will build data pipelines for investment platforms and streamline data flows, collaborating with front office, IT and architecture to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.

Ideal candidates have PySpark, Databricks and Python expertise, Azure Data Platform and DevOps exposure, 5+ years in data modeling, and a CS/Engineering degree with strong English.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in PySpark, Databricks and Python.
• Experience with Azure Data Platform and DevOps practices.
• 5+ years of data modeling and querying experience.
• Background/degree in Computer Science / Engineering.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PySpark-based data pipelines in Databricks.
• Manage Databricks workspaces, dependencies, and integrations.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to enhance data models for BI tools.
• Maintain Azure DevOps repositories for version control and CI/CD.
• Document solutions and share knowledge within the team.
• Engage with stakeholders including front office, IT, and architecture teams.
