Vacancy: Interim Senior Project Manager - Innovation & Renovation (FMCG)

For one of our clients, Danone, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact innovation and renovation projects within the Dairy segment. This interim role is part of the local IPRO (Innovation & Productivity Realization Office) team and focuses on delivering complex projects across the Benelux region.

• Commitment: 40 hours a week
• Start date: Latest the begin of November 2025
• Duration: 4 months
• Location: Rijswijk
• Hybrid: One day each two weeks at the office

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of high-priority or complex innovation and renovation projects
• Manage project pipeline and prioritization within assigned scope
• Develop and implement project plans including resource allocation, timelines, and risk strategies
• Guide cross-functional teams through Danone's governance steps (Define to Post Launch)
• Ensure alignment on scope, timing, cost, quality, and stakeholder expectations
• Facilitate critical decisions and manage communication across business teams and senior management
• Oversee financial risk and contingency planning (product cost, investments, etc.)
• Train stakeholders on innovation management tools and methods
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, R&I, Quality, Regulatory, Activity Management, and Finance

• Drive value creation and growth through locally relevant innovations and renovations
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to quality standards

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Based in the Netherlands or Belgium
• ±5 years of experience in similar (innovation and renovation) project management roles within FMCG or food industry
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Structured, proactive, and consumer-oriented mindset
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus
