Job summary

Haskoning in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Project Manager to bridge clients and our global team of water experts. You will lead delivery and steer the project teams to turn ambitions into tangible outcomes across technology packages including design, commissioning and in-house controller software.

You will manage client relationships, guide internal teams, and take overall responsibility for integrated delivery on international projects within the Water Technology unit.

Qualifications

• You have a technical background and lead multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong client-facing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is required; other languages are a plus.

What you do as a Senior Project Manager

As Senior Project Manager, you will be the link between the client and our experts. You have to be able to inspire teams and clients alike, providing the leadership needed to turn ambitions into successful outcomes.

We bring our technology to market in so-called technology packages, which include basic design, and commissioning and start-up support for our technology and delivery of in-house developed controller software. Together with your project team, you will deliver our projects. Our clients include water utilities contractors and consultants all around the world. With an enthusiastic, proactive approach you will ensure that all parties can be proud of the final result. You will be the client's first point of contact and you will lead the internal team and set the direction for the project, taking overall responsibility for its integrated delivery.

As Senior Project Manager, you will become part of the Business Unit Water Technology Products.

• You have a technical background, and continually seek an appropriate way of working, striking a good balance between project control aspects, scope and risks;
• You have successfully completed your Bachelor or Master in a technical degree and have at least eight years' experience as a project manager on multidisciplinary projects; working experience in the Middle East works to your advantage;
• You have worked for a contractor or you have at least a contractor mindset;
• You are solutions-focused, practical, entrepreneurial, people-oriented and results-driven;
• You are proactive and have strong communication skills in both Dutch and English; Speaking other languages like Spanish, Italian or French works to your advantage.
• You are based in The Netherlands, and able to travel (when required) both nationally and internationally.
