Haskoning is seeking a proactive Senior Project Manager to bridge clients and our water experts. You will inspire teams and clients, turning ambitions into successful outcomes, delivering technology packages including basic design, commissioning and start-up support for our technology and controller software.

You will work with clients such as water utilities and contractors worldwide, lead the project team, and take overall responsibility for integrated delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master in a technical degree.
• At least eight years' experience as a project manager on multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience with contractors or a contractor mindset.
• Proactive, solutions-focused, and entrepreneurial with strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Based in The Netherlands and able to travel nationally and internationally.

What you do as a Senior Project Manager

As Senior Project Manager, you will be the link between the client and our experts. You have to be able to inspire teams and clients alike, providing the leadership needed to turn ambitions into successful outcomes.

We bring our technology to market in so-called technology packages, which include basic design, and commissioning and start-up support for our technology and delivery of in-house developed controller software. Together with your project team, you will deliver our projects. Our clients include water utilities contractors and consultants all around the world. With an enthusiastic, proactive approach you will ensure that all parties can be proud of the final result. You will be the client's first point of contact and you will lead the internal team and set the direction for the project, taking overall responsibility for its integrated delivery.

As Senior Project Manager, you will become part of the Business Unit Water Technology Products.

• You have a technical background, and continually seek an appropriate way of working, striking a good balance between project control aspects, scope and risks;
• You have successfully completed your Bachelor or Master in a technical degree and have at least eight years' experience as a project manager on multidisciplinary projects; working experience in the Middle East works to your advantage;
• You have worked for a contractor or you have at least a contractor mindset;
• You are solutions-focused, practical, entrepreneurial, people-oriented and results-driven;
• You are proactive and have strong communication skills in both Dutch and English; Speaking other languages like Spanish, Italian or French works to your advantage.
• You are based in The Netherlands, and able to travel (when required) both nationally and internationally.
