Job summary

Marel Poultry B.V. is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Innovation in Boxmeer. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure delivery of complex projects within an international context.

With a Master’s in engineering and 10+ years in innovation PM, you will apply Agile SCRUM/Kanban, drive change, and communicate clearly with stakeholders across functions and countries. Hybrid work and strong development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or relevant field.
• Education in project management.
• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in an Innovation environment.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, SCRUM and Kanban.
• Experience in multicultural and multidisciplinary organizations.
• Proficient in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional project teams with a clear direction.
• Own project timelines and budgets, ensuring on-target delivery.
• Monitor progress and drive continuous improvement.
• Translate ideas into concrete plans, assign actions, and drive progress.
• Ensure timely, transparent reporting and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, and visit customers/partners on-site when needed.

Senior Project Manager Innovation

About the Role

We’re looking for a result-driven and experienced project manager who knows how to navigate complexity, inspire teams, and deliver successful outcomes. At Marel, you follow our Product Development Process (PDP) to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. With your strong sense of ownership and your experience in international settings, you take full responsibility for both the progress and the quality of your projects and the data that drives them.

What You Will Do, Day-to-Day

• You lead and manage cross-functional project teams with a clear sense of direction and collaboration.
• You take ownership of project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient and on-target delivery.
• You actively monitor ongoing projects and contribute with a sharp, constructive perspective to drive continuous improvement.
• In close collaboration with the project team, you translate ideas into concrete plans, take the lead, assign roles, and define the necessary actions to drive progress.
• You ensure all stakeholders are informed in a timely and transparent manner through clear reporting and effective communication.
• You ensure compliance with Marel’s internal policies and processes, promoting a structured and reliable project environment.
• You visit customers and partners when project needs require on-site collaboration or support.

Including the following education, knowledge and experience:

• Master’s degree in Engineering or relevant field
• Education in project management
• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in an Innovation environment
• Knowledgeable on the Agile mindset and extensive experience in Agile project management methodologies (e.g SCRUM, Kanban)
• Experience working in multicultural and multidisciplinary organizations, with a comfort in navigating diverse teams and environments.
• Skilled in English and Dutch, both written and verbal, ensuring clear and effective communication.
