Job summary

NN Group in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to independently lead large workstreams within the NextGen Risk Management programme. You will translate objectives into clear scope and plans, drive day-to-day execution, and manage risks and dependencies across Group Risk and business units.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, disciplined delivery, and fluency in English, with a university degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management, transformation or change delivery in financial services.
• Proven ability to independently lead larger projects or workstreams within a programme.
• Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and able to prepare concise materials for management decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage workstreams within NextGen Risk Management, aligning scope, milestones and plans.
• Translate objectives into clear scope, deliverables, milestones, dependencies and actions.
• Identify, evaluate and manage risks, issues, dependencies and resource constraints, escalating when needed.
• Coordinate stakeholders across Group Risk, functions and business units and prepare high-quality management deliverables.
• Coordinate project team members and junior PM support, sharing PM best practices.
