Job summary

Klipboard in the Netherlands seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end ERP implementations, upgrades and migrations, including Azure cloud projects, across the Benelux region. You will coordinate consultants, cloud specialists and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional level in a related field.
• At least five years of project management experience in software, ERP or cloud projects.
• End-to-end ERP implementation, upgrade or migration experience.
• Experience coordinating Azure cloud migration projects with Azure architects and security specialists.
• Strong governance, planning, budgeting, risk and stakeholder management.
• PRINCE2, PMP, IPMA or AgilePM certification preferred.
• Ability to translate technical dependencies into business decisions for customers.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Professional Services financing, including revenue recognition and invoicing.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager BNLX – ERP & Azure Cloud Migrations is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of ERP implementation, upgrade and migration projects, together with Microsoft Azure cloud migration projects, from initiation through transition to the customer organisation and handover to Support.

The role ensures that projects are delivered within agreed scope, quality, schedule and budget, with clear governance, controlled risk and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business outcomes. The Project Manager coordinates consultants, cloud specialists, third parties and customer stakeholders across the Benelux region.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP implementation and migration project delivery

• Manage ERP One and related digital transformation projects from initiation and discovery through design, configuration, data migration, testing, go-live and hypercare.
• Establish and maintain the project charter, delivery plan, milestones, scope, budget, resource plan, RAID log, decision log and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate fit/gap analysis, solution design, interfaces, data conversion, user acceptance testing, cutover and operational handover.
• Ensure dependencies between ERP, integrations, infrastructure, customer processes and third-party suppliers are identified and actively managed.
• Lead Azure migration projects from assessment and planning through build, migration, validation, cutover, rollback readiness, hypercare and transfer to Support.
• Coordinate technical workstreams covering landing-zone readiness, connectivity, identity and access, security, data migration, backup, monitoring and operational support.
• Maintain an integrated migration and cutover plan, including test cycles, go/no-go criteria, contingency arrangements and rollback procedures.
• Ensure technical risks, security requirements and customer responsibilities are made explicit and escalated through the agreed governance structure.

Project governance, commercial control and reporting

• Monitor quality, scope, timeline, budget, margin, actions and customer commitments, and take corrective action when tolerances are at risk.
• Chair project meetings and steering committees; provide concise status reporting, forecasts, decisions required and escalation recommendations.
• Act as the first point of contact for project escalations and manage these through timely, factual and effective communication.
• Review incoming orders and statements of work for completeness, assumptions, dependencies, acceptance criteria and links to other products or suppliers.
• Validate project time registration, progress, milestones and monthly invoicing using company-provided systems and processes.
• Coordinate resource requirements with PMO, team leads, consultants, cloud specialists, Sales and Support.

Methods, quality and continuous improvement

• Apply the agreed project and implementation methodologies, governance standards, documentation and reporting requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of PSG BNLX project delivery, templates, controls, lessons learned and knowledge transfer.
• Ensure a structured handover to the customer organisation and Support, including documentation, open risks, operational ownership and post-go-live follow-up.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities while maintaining transparent communication with customers and internal stakeholders.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional level, preferably in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• At least five years of project management experience in software, ERP implementation, digital transformation or cloud migration environments.
• Demonstrable experience delivering end-to-end ERP implementation, upgrade or migration projects, including data migration, testing, cutover and hypercare.
• Practical experience coordinating Microsoft Azure cloud migration projects and working effectively with cloud architects, engineers and security specialists.
• Strong command of project governance, scope, planning, budget, commercial control, risk, change, quality and stakeholder management.
• Working knowledge of structured project methods such as PRINCE2, PMP, IPMA or AgilePM.
• Ability to translate technical dependencies and risks into clear business impact, decisions and actions for customers and management.
• Strong customer orientation, relationship-building, negotiation, presentation and escalation-management skills.
• Fluent written and spoken Dutch and English.
• Result-oriented, proactive, decisive, organised and able to work across multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams.
• Certification in PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, IPMA or AgilePM.
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or a comparable level of Azure knowledge.
• Experience with Klipboard/Kerridge Commercial Systems software products and the wholesale, distribution or manufacturing sectors.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Kantata or comparable project, resource and portfolio management tooling.
• Experience in Professional Services organisations, including revenue recognition, invoicing, utilisation and margin awareness.
