Job summary

Airswift in Rotterdam is seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Process & Rotating Packages for a long-term contractor role on a major Oil & Gas project. You will lead cross-disciplinary package delivery, coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction teams across regions to meet schedule, budget, quality and safety goals.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring and stakeholder management, with a hybrid model (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) in Rotterdam, and a focus on delivering Process

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Experience: 10+ years in Oil & Gas project engineering.
• Proven experience in Project Management, Engineering, or Package Management.
• Strong track record with Process and/or Rotating Equipment packages.
• Experience on EPC and/or EPCM projects.
• Previous Europe-based or international project experience is essential.
• Background in international/multidisciplinary environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, scheduling, and budgeting for project packages.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Oversee lifecycle of Process & Rotating Equipment packages.
• Conduct risk assessments and support decision-making.
• Interface with clients, suppliers, and project teams to ensure alignment.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
