Job Description

Senior Program Manager Installation

Introduction

Help shape the future of installation by turning global insights into practical improvements that make on‑site execution faster, simpler and more predictable. In this strategic role, you will connect stakeholders across the value chain and drive initiatives that improve quality, lead time and cost performance, with a primary focus on Parcel projects in North America.

What will you be doing?

You will analyze, propose, initiate, execute and embed strategic improvement initiatives across the global installation scope. You will capture feedback from Sales, Design, Production, Shipping and Site teams and translate it into new opportunities focused on standardization, modularization, and time and cost reduction.

Working closely with the Operational Management team, you will provide input on business cases and strategic alignment. You will also support the Installation Management team and project teams during execution, helping drive predictable, high‑quality outcomes, zero defects and delivery within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex installation‑related processes and develop improvements to equipment, tools and systems across functions, with a specific focus on the North American Parcel scope.

  • Prepare and present improvement plans to senior global Operations management, including expected benefits, constraints, budget requirements and resource needs.

  • Manage selected initiatives through the pilot phase, validate and report results, and ensure successful embedding in roadmaps, process maps and ways of working.

  • Lead and coach cross‑functional teams assigned to improvement topics, aligning contributors around agreed targets, goals and schedules.

  • Build strong connections across the international Installation network and create the awareness and involvement required for successful implementation.

  • Represent the global Distribution Installation community in equipment improvement and development discussions, safeguard installation requirements, and mobilize technical expertise across the network.

What do we ask from you?

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Technical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline, combined with more than 10 years of management experience.
  • A strong background in material handling equipment products and processes, together with an excellent understanding of on‑site project execution.
  • An entrepreneurial and analytical mindset, with the ability to evaluate improvement outcomes and translate findings into practical actions.
  • Proven ability to influence, align and manage stakeholders at all levels without relying on direct reporting lines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally and consolidate feedback from diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites to analyze current workflows and support improvement initiatives.

About the team

You will work within the global Installation community and collaborate closely with Operational Management, Installation Management and stakeholders across Sales, Design, Production, Shipping and Site. Together, the team focuses on reducing on‑site workload and improving installation outcomes across the full value stream, with particular attention to Parcel projects in North America.
