Job summary

Victron Energy in Groningen seeks a production test equipment engineer to develop and maintain test systems for production lines. You will collaborate with R&D and suppliers to ensure high-quality testing and reliable hardware-software integration.

You will work in a small team, handle multiple projects, design wiring and test sequences, and help improve yield and efficiency while communicating with international teams.

Qualifications

• Higher degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Strong social and communication skills.
• Living near Groningen or willing to relocate to Groningen.
• Mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of Teststand and LabVIEW.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Independent and senior way of working.
• Experience with both software programming and hardware.
• Affinity with power electronics is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to Asia once or twice a year.

Responsibilities

• Development of new production test equipment.
• Make a test plan, together with the R&D-Engineer.
• Order the test equipment (electronic loads, power supplies, test-fixture, etc.)
• Make wiring schematic(s) of the test setup;
• Wire the tester (or arrange someone else to do it);
• Mount and wire the equipment in a 19” rack (or arrange someone else to do it);
• Develop the test sequence in NI Teststand, using NI LabVIEW or other plugins like .Net, Python, etc.
• Maintenance and support of already running test equipment; may require longer hours occasionally.
• Analyze the test results like First Pass Yield.
• Help further to improve the results and effectiveness of our testers.
• Communication with internal and external stakeholders (R&D, Operations and production facilities in Asia)
