Job summary

ClickHouse is seeking a security engineer to partner with product and engineering teams. You will drive threat modeling, secure implementations, and vulnerability triage for ClickHouse Cloud and OSS.

Ideal candidates have hands-on cloud security, Kubernetes expertise, and strong automation skills, with experience in C++ development and security tooling. This remote NL role supports flexible work arrangements and security-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting engineering and product by threat assessments and assurance activities.
• Hands-on in distributed systems across web, API and client/server assets.
• Strong knowledge of cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering to improve features with threat modeling and secure implementations.
• Identify security gaps and triage vulnerabilities in Cloud and OSS, via bug bounty and reports.
• Lead security assurance activities: pentests, vulnerability assessments, fuzzing.
• Drive adoption of security tools: static/dynamic analysis, SBOM, code licensing checks.
• Foster security culture, improve processes, and scale security automation.
• Handle security events across ClickHouse products and services.
• Support engineering with automation to reduce risk and manual toil.
