Job summary

JetBrains, a leader in intelligent software development tools, seeks a Senior Product Manager to shape the future of VCS and code-change workflows across JetBrains IDEs. You will own the product vision for local merges, remote workflows, and AI-assisted reviews, collaborating with engineering and product teams.

You will translate complex developer workflows into a clear roadmap, identify gaps, and explore opportunities from cross-IDE clients to host-neutral reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience leading product direction for developer tools or code collaboration software.
• Ability to translate complex developer workflows into roadmaps.
• Proven track record coordinating across product, engineering, marketing and advocacy.
• Deep understanding of version control mechanics and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Set long-term VCS product strategy across JetBrains IDEs.
• Identify gaps and define new directions in the VCS space.
• Explore opportunities from cross-IDE clients to AI-native reviews.
• Listen to community and industry to guide priorities.
• Align roadmap decisions across product, engineering, design, marketing, and partnerships.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality leads to balance value and constraints.
• Shape external positioning and represent VCS direction to customers.
