Senior Product Manager, Split Payments

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead and scale our Split Payments capabilities, enabling platform customers to monetize payment processing for their sub‑merchants. The role sits at the intersection of core payment processing, financial data routing, and platform scalability, and it will own the product lifecycle for split logic across authorization, capture, refunds, and chargebacks.

What you’ll do

Set Vision & Strategy

• Define long‑term strategy for the split payment product, grounded in customer value and measurable business impact.
• Translate market opportunities and platform requirements into clear priorities, actionable roadmaps, and success metrics.
• Simplify ambiguity in an extremely complex space by defining clear, actionable use cases alongside engineering and commercial teams.
• Own end‑to‑end product lifecycle for automated split configurations.

Lead Through Influence

• Operate as the primary product authority for split payments across Adyen.
• Serve as subject matter expert on payment lifecycle variations, clearing/settlement flows, and overarching platform products.
• Partner closely with engineering, support, sales, and implementation teams to align core capabilities with changing platform business models.

Build for Scale & Customer‑Centric

• Design and scale rule‑driven logic to handle automated commission calculations and fee distributions across various lifecycle stages.
• Collaborate with engineering to maximize performance, reliability, and scalability of split generation infrastructure.
• Contribute to customer‑facing automated split tooling in the Customer Area to help platforms configure, version, and manage monetization strategies.
• Engage directly with platforms to understand pain points, gather feedback on dashboards, and translate needs into product requirements.
• Monitor product metrics and identify continuous optimization opportunities to guarantee accurate data, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Take full ownership of initiatives from initial scoping through final delivery, managing timelines and stakeholder expectations.

Who you are

• Experienced product leader with at least 8 years in product management or client‑facing product role, ideally with complex enterprise software, payments, fintech, marketplaces, or SaaS platforms.
• Strategic thinker with hands‑on mentality; self‑starter with proven project management skills and ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Analytical problem solver, data‑driven, and comfortable navigating ambiguity; excels at turning complex challenges into structured solutions.
• Humble, curious, and quick learner; proactive in identifying problems and proposing long‑term solutions.
• Natural communicator and team player with high energy and solid interpersonal skills to drive technical discussions and strategic alignments across cultures.
• Platform & merchant enabler; able to balance short‑ and long‑term planning, prioritize and delegate, while maintaining a hands‑on mentality to set a clear path for platform merchants.
