Job summary

Mogelijk is seeking a Product Manager for the Platform Team to shape the products, processes and capabilities that form the core of Mogelijk's proposition. You will own the product vision, strategy and roadmap, translating data, user insights and business context into priorities and measurable outcomes.

You will collaborate with Engineering and other teams to turn opportunities into valuable solutions, using discovery, data and analysis to understand root problems and drive customer value.

Mogelijk provides business mortgages to entrepreneurs and real estate investors while giving investors the opportunity to finance these mortgages with their capital.

As Product Manager within our Platform Team, you will play an important role in shaping the products, processes and capabilities that form the foundation of Mogelijk's proposition.

Your direct stakeholders and users are primarily internal teams across Mogelijk. However, the impact of your work goes much further. By understanding what these teams need, identifying bottlenecks and improving the products and processes they rely on, you ultimately help us create a better experience for our customers: borrowers looking for financing and investors looking to invest their capital.

What you’ll do

As Product Manager within the Platform Team, you take ownership of the product vision, strategy and roadmap. You combine data, user insights and business context to identify the most valuable problems to solve and translate them into clear priorities and measurable outcomes. While your direct stakeholders are primarily internal teams, you always connect improvements to their ultimate impact on borrowers and investors.

You work closely with Engineering and other teams to understand challenges, challenge assumptions and turn opportunities into solutions that create real value. Rather than simply translating stakeholder requests into features, you use discovery, data and analysis to understand the underlying problem and make informed product decisions.

You also play an important role in helping the team become more product-driven. You create focus, balance short‑term needs with the long‑term product vision, and coach the team towards greater ownership of problems and outcomes.

Who you are

First and foremost, you are an experienced Product Manager who enjoys solving complex problems and creating measurable value.

You are comfortable working in a domain where your direct users and stakeholders are often colleagues within the organisation, while always keeping sight of the end customer.

You don’t simply take stakeholder requests and turn them into a roadmap. You dig deeper: What problem are we actually trying to solve? What does the data tell us? What is the impact on our customers? And is this really the most valuable thing we could be working on?

You bring:

• 4+ years of relevant Product Management experience, preferably in a digital or technology-driven environment.
• Demonstrable experience owning product vision, strategy, discovery, prioritisation and roadmaps.
• A strong analytical and data-driven mindset. You enjoy diving into data, identifying patterns and using insights to make better product decisions.
• The ability to connect the needs of internal stakeholders with the experience of the end customer.
• Experience working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Engineering.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to create alignment between different teams and perspectives.
• Experience with, or a strong affinity for, coaching teams towards a more product-driven way of working.
• Curiosity, ownership, strategic mindset and the willingness to challenge existing assumptions.

In this role, success isn’t measured by the number of features delivered.

You help the team develop a better understanding of the problems worth solving, create focus through clear priorities and use data to understand whether the solutions we build actually create value.

Over time, you will help the Platform Team become increasingly product-driven and outcome-oriented, while developing a clear long-term vision for the domain.

Ultimately, the improvements made by your team should enable Mogelijk to provide a better, simpler and more scalable experience for both borrowers and investors.

We offer a salary on the high end inscale F (€6000 - 7000 gross per month), a pension scheme and travel reimbursement based on public transport or kilometres travelled. You’ll receive five weeks of annual leave, with the possibility to buy additional days. Additionally, you can choose between a bonus, stock options and more.

Our office is conveniently located directly next to Breukelen railway station and the A2 motorway.
