Job summary

Marie-Stella-Maris, founded in Amsterdam, is seeking a Senior Product Development Manager to lead end-to-end product development from concept to launch. You will translate concepts into technically feasible, launch-ready products while collaborating with Sourcing, Supply Chain, Brand and Sales to ensure quality, cost awareness and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in product development, R&D or technical product development within beauty, personal care, home fragrance or related consumer goods.
• Demonstrated experience owning products through full development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Strong knowledge of formulation development, packaging development, testing and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working with manufacturers, laboratories, packaging suppliers and other external development partners.
• Good understanding of product quality, regulatory requirements and technical feasibility in beauty/home categories.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple complex timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full product development process from concept through formulation, packaging development, testing, validation, production and launch.
• Translate briefs into clear technical requirements for suppliers and development partners.
• Drive development timelines, ensuring milestones are met before production.
• Identify risks and bottlenecks early and drive solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth handovers and production readiness.
