Job summary

SkyCell AG is seeking a Product Designer to set the cross-application UX direction for our commercial software. You will lead discovery, create wireframes and prototypes, and define a unified experience across modules and applications while guiding embedded designers.

You will own end-to-end discovery, collaborate with Product and Marketing to define vision and success metrics, and advocate UX investments to leadership.

Qualifications

• Senior/lead product designer with proven track record in complex B2B software
• Experience in discovery, user research, and prototyping
• Ability to align multiple designers toward one coherent experience across products or modules

Responsibilities

• Own discovery end-to-end: lead user research and interviews, map journeys, jobs-to-be-done, pain points and opportunities
• Create wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes hands-on (Figma and/or code) to explore and test concepts during discovery
• Define the cross-application UX vision, design principles, and success metrics with Product and Marketing
• Align our specialized designers into a unified design across all modules and applications
• Advocate UX principles and investments to senior leadership, showing ROI of UX roadmaps
• Maintain the UX roadmap and prioritise pattern and design investments with the framework team
• Produce high-level experience flows and service blueprints connecting journeys across apps
• Review Design System and module deliverables for alignment with experience strategy
• Support embedded designers from discovery to delivery and sign off on journey continuity
• Set KPIs and use analytics, user research, A/B tests and competitive analysis
• Champion user-centered and accessible design (WCAG) across the organisation
• Collaborate with Marketing on tone, terminology, and brand consistency across products
