S[&]T Eindhoven seeks a Senior Process Engineer to translate innovative ideas into scalable manufacturing for next-generation printed and hybrid electronics. You will lead development and optimization of production processes in a multidisciplinary team, bridging materials science, process technology, and microelectronics to deliver robust scale-up solutions.

Qualifications

BSc degree in mechanical/ electrical/ materials science or related field.
5+ years of experience in microelectronics manufacturing or related process engineering environments.
Experience with printed electronics is a strong plus.
Hands-on mentality with ability to organize practical work efficiently.
Strong data processing, analysis, interpretation, and communication of results.
Experience collaborating on projects with industrial partners or customers.
Excellent English communication skills.
Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to thrive in a spin-off environment with tight deadlines and dynamic context.

Responsibilities

Developing and optimizing printing, interconnecting, and assembly processes, alongside Quality Control procedures, for advanced printed electronics devices.
Enabling hybrid integration of printed functionality with chips, piezo materials, and LEDs while maintaining thinness and flexibility.
Applying expertise in materials, processes, and device design to solve scaling challenges including equipment and tooling design.
Taking technical manufacturing process responsibility in collaboration with international partners.
Interacting closely with customers and partners to align progress with project and business objectives.
Analyzing experimental and manufacturing data, drawing conclusions, and communicating results to stakeholders.
Contributing to knowledge building, best practices, and technology roadmaps in printed electronics.
Acting as a senior technical and operational reference and sparring partner within the team.
Growth into Operational Management team role within the spin-off.
