Job summary
Eli Lilly and Company Katwijk is seeking a Process Automation Area Lead to provide automation support for the OSD manufacturing at the Katwijk site. You will ensure reliability, compliance, and performance of the automation systems from startup through steady-state operations.
Initially integrated with the global automation team, the role will transition to a site-based process team position, collaborating across Global Automation and Facilities Delivery to meet project goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related science field.
- Professional fluency in English and Dutch preferred.
- 5+ years in automation and 5+ years in regulated/pharma industries.
- Knowledge of GMPs and computer system validation.
Responsibilities
- Design, install, and qualify OSD process automation systems.
- Lead integration of automation into site data collection and IT systems.
- Manage automation system security and data integrity.
- Grow automation systems as new process equipment is added.
- Collaborate on global initiatives including data programs and cyber security.
- Develop site procedures governing process automation systems.
- Support weighing, dispensing, and compression in unit operations.
