UMC Utrecht is offering a Principal Investigator position within the Center for Translational Immunology (CTI). You will lead an independent research line, expanding the Computational Immunology Core (CIC) and driving large-scale, data-driven projects.

You will collaborate with diverse partnerships, contribute to education and mentorship, and advance translational immunology through computational methods and team science.

Qualifications

• PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics or biostatistics with immunology experience.
• PhD in immunology with advanced computational biology experience.
• Experience with data-intensive technologies such as spectral flow cytometry, imaging, single-cell transcriptomics or spatial profiling.
• Proven track record of independent research funding and publications.
• At least 5 years of post-PhD experience in academia or industry.
• Experience supervising PhD students or postdocs.
• Fluent English, teaching affinity and strong communication skills.
• Strong drive for innovation and collaboration, eagerness to learn new techniques.
