Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Pre‑Sales Technical Engineer in the Netherlands to be the go‑to technical authority on UPS systems and Power Distribution Units. You will work directly with hyperscale customers and the Sales team to architect solutions that exceed expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering and 5–10 years of hands‑on experience with UPS systems and data center infrastructure. Fluent English and Italian is required.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands‑on experience with UPS systems, batteries, and data center infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in critical power products — UPS, battery storage systems, and electrical infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, dissect customer requirements, and identify technical specifications.
• Provide pre‑sales support on product specifications, ensuring bulletproof proposals.
• Design innovative solutions where standard products fall short.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers to deliver solutions.
• Attend customer meetings as the technical expert.
