Job summary

Green Energy Storage B.V. (GES) is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the Netherlands' flagship BESS project, a 100 MW+ system with a budget of EUR 100m+.

Based at our Breda headquarters, you will assume end responsibility from construction to close-out and lead a multi-disciplinary team. You will collaborate with an integrator, BoP contractor, and HV specialists, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality, while reporting to management and investors and supporting commissioning and

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project management for energy, infra, or industrial CapEx.
• End-to-end responsibility for EUR 100m+ projects.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong commercial and contractual acumen.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.
• Willingness to travel between sites and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the project team and foster ownership and safety.
• Own the integrated schedule, budget, contingency, and forecast.
• Manage interfaces between work packages and contractors.
• End responsibility for HSE and quality; ensure permits and grid requirements.
• Escalate, manage variations and claims with contracts manager.
• Report progress, risks, and decisions to management and investors.
• Deliver commissioning, handover, and lessons learned for future projects.
