Job summary

Greenhost is seeking a senior or intermediate PHP back-end developer to strengthen our small team. You will maintain and improve a mature PHP codebase, extend the API layer around our service panel, and make daily fixes to keep customer sites running smoothly.

You will work in a UNIX/Linux environment, collaborate across teams, and help ship reliable software that supports social relevance. The role offers a hybrid office/home setup in Amsterdam with lasting growth opportunities and a real say

Qualifications

• Must have solid PHP and databases experience.
• Strong Linux/Unix (Debian-based) knowledge.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day maintenance, fixes and improvements of a mature PHP codebase.
• Refactoring and modernising the codebase, including API layer extensions around the service panel.
