Job summary

A prominent global resources company in the Netherlands is seeking a Packaging Technology Expert for its European supply network. This role involves optimizing packaging costs and collaborating with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure high quality and sustainability standards. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and experience in packaging development. The position offers a competitive salary of €4,300 – €5,000 per month and the possibility of hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in packaging development within Food, Pharma, or FMCG industries.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Identify packaging cost optimization opportunities and assess technical feasibility.
• Develop packaging technical briefs considering cost, quality, and sustainability.
• Lead suppliers in defining packaging specifications aligned with company requirements.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to assess risks and define mitigation plans.
