AAA Global, a specialist proprietary trading firm in Amsterdam, is seeking an experienced options market-maker or prop trader to take ownership of a trading book and shape strategies.

You will manage your own book across equity and crypto options, using quantitative analysis to identify opportunities and implement ideas with autonomy. European-based candidates encouraged; onsite in Amsterdam.

Our client, a specialist proprietary trading firm based in Amsterdam, is looking to bring on an experienced options market‑maker or prop trader as it continues to grow.

The firm trades U.S. Equity Options, Crypto Options and Delta One, pairing advanced technology with trader‑led strategies. This is a chance for a seasoned trader to take true ownership of a trading book, shape and develop strategies, and make a direct, visible impact on the business.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing your own book and identifying opportunities across volatility trading and market making.

The role offers significant autonomy, with experienced traders encouraged to develop new ideas, build strategies and take ownership from initial concept through to implementation. You’ll work closely with other traders and the wider team, using market data and quantitative analysis to make informed trading decisions.

This is a hands‑on trading environment where initiative, commercial thinking and a strong understanding of markets are highly valued.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in a trading role, with a background in equity options, crypto options, market making or proprietary trading
• A demonstrable track record of profitable trading
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to make fast and considered decisions under pressure
• Strong understanding of options, volatility and/or market-making strategies
• An entrepreneurial mindset and genuine ownership mentality
• Competitive, driven and detail-oriented
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other traders

Location

Amsterdam, with an expectation to work onsite.

Only candidates currently based in Europe, including the UK, will be considered for this position. The interview process will also require an onsite interview.

Nice to have

• Python experience for automation, data analysis or trading-related applications
• Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL or TimescaleDB
