Job summary

Teva Pharmaceuticals in the Netherlands is hiring an Operator – Complex Compounding to manufacture bulk products for the fill-finish line. You will dispense, compound and filtrate sterile products and ensure quality through accurate documentation in a cGMP environment.

Role includes a 24/5 rotating shift with day and three-shift cycles and a hybrid work policy. A recent degree in engineering or science or relevant batch-manufacturing experience is welcome, with strong communication in English or

• Degree in Engineering or Science with interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience in batch manufacturing in regulated environments is a plus.
• Willingness to improve Dutch language skills if needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and start-up activities per cleanroom SOPs and cGMP.
• Dispense, compound and filtrate sterile products.
• Assist in basic equipment maintenance as directed by Engineering.
• Maintain health and safety practices and quality documentation.
• Troubleshoot process issues to support site performance targets.
• Ensure batch documentation is completed correctly and per SOPs.

The opportunity

As an Operator – Complex Compounding, you will ultimately be responsible for the manufacture of our bulk products. The bulk products you manufacture will be the starting point for the fill- finish department and ultimately result in a high quality pharma product batch that leaves our site. You’ll be dispensing, compounding and filtrating our products throughout the Manufacturing Operations department. How you’ll spend your day

• Equipment / process set-up/start up activities in accordance with cleanroom SOPs and cGMP
• Dispense, compound and filtrate Teva’s sterile products
• Assist, where appropriate in basic equipment maintenance - As instructed by the Engineering team
• Taking accountability in adhering to Health and Safety procedures and good working practices to minimize accidents/incidents
• Perform operational duties to enhance overall quality of the final product
• Ensuring good housekeeping standards are met within your area(s) and in accordance with cGMP
• Take an active role in trouble shooting and resolving process issues in a quick and effective manner, ultimately contributing to the achievement of site performance targets
• Take ownership of reporting any instances of non-conformance are communicated to management team
• Complete batch & associated manufacturing documentation right first time in accordance with SOPs and ensure compliance with cGMP

Your experience and qualifications

Are you a recent graduate with a Degree in an Engineering or Science discipline who has a passion for working in a business which improves patients’ lives.

Or alternatively you may have experience of working in batch manufacturing (dispensing, compounding) within in a highly regulated industry such as food manufacturing, pharma, medical devices or any other similar environment.

• Strong technical and problem solving skills that can be applied to pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Good attention to detail
• Good communication skills in Dutch or English and preferred the willingness to improve your Dutch language skills in case needed.

Are you:

• Able to set and deliver high performance standards for self and team members
• Able to work as part of an operations team

Shift pattern

This role includes day-shift activities and a three-shift pattern. This position follows a 24/5 rotating shift schedule aligned with Teva’s production schedule. The three-week rotation is repeated continuously:

• Week 1: Sunday to Thursday night shifts, 22:00 to 06:30. Each shift ends the following day.
• Week 2: Monday to Friday evening shifts, 14:00 to 22:30.
• Week 3: Monday to Friday morning shifts, 06:00 to 14:30.
