Xylem is seeking a senior, hands-on Operations Director to lead a complex CTO/ETO manufacturing site in the Netherlands. You will own operational performance, drive strategy deployment, and coach teams on the floor to convert improvement plans into sustained results.

The role requires 10+ years in manufacturing operations leadership, proven Lean transformation experience, and strong financial acumen. You will partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Product Management to optimize cost,

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership experience.
Lean transformations at site level with structured problem solving.
Strong supply chain integration, production planning, and quality systems.
Experience managing operational budgets, cost reductions, and capital investments.
Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills across all levels.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Oracle) and ISO/regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

Own site operations including manufacturing, quality, materials, and logistics.
Lead daily execution while shaping long-term operation strategy.
Drive site transformation: standard work, flow, lead times, and Lean culture.
Establish and maintain structured problem solving: A3, PDCA, Kaizen, 8D, DMAIC.
Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Product Management to balance cost and responsiveness.
Develop people and culture; ensure safety leadership and accountability.
