Venquis is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team in the Netherlands. You will lead the build-out of an on-premise Kubernetes platform, focusing on reliability, automation and operational excellence across the infrastructure supporting vessels worldwide.

You will collaborate with software and IT teams to deliver practical solutions and help shape the future of the internal platform in a global engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps.
• Solid Linux, Kubernetes and virtualization experience.
• Pragmatic, hands-on approach to solving technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain on-premise Kubernetes environments.
• Work with Linux, virtual machines and infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
• Improve platform reliability, monitoring and deployment workflows.
• Work closely with software and IT teams to deliver practical solutions.
