Job summary

Middle Point is seeking a Senior Buyer to lead the procurement of materials, equipment and services for offshore projects in Rotterdam. You will manage supplier selection, negotiate contracts and drive value across cost, quality and delivery targets.

The role requires 10+ years in Oil & Gas or EPC procurement, a Bachelor's in a related field, and fluent English. You will coordinate with Project Management, Engineering and Category teams and mentor junior buyers while supporting international

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related).
• 10+ years procurement experience in Oil & Gas, Offshore, Energy or EPC industries.
• Proven experience procuring mechanical equipment and project-related packages.
• Strong negotiation, contract management and supplier relationship management skills.
• Solid commercial and analytical mindset with ability to manage procurement risks and opportunities.
• Experience in a project-driven international environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of materials, equipment and services for offshore projects and operations.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project requirements, schedules and budgets.
• Lead supplier selection, commercial negotiations and contract execution for assigned packages.
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, delivery and cost performance.
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks while securing best commercial value.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve commercial or supply chain issues as needed.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering and Category Management teams to support project delivery.
• Mentor and support Buyers within the procurement team.
