Job summary

B Futurist B.V. is looking for an experienced Odoo developer to strengthen in-house capabilities. You will write Python customisations and work across Trading, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance and HR, growing ownership of the ERP system.

You will collaborate with a specialist partner on larger developments while taking the lead on everyday tasks, reports, and data migrations as the system evolves toward Odoo 20. Remote work is possible for some applicants outside the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and object-oriented design.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo v17+ and data models.
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL knowledge.
• XML, XPath and QWeb templating for Odoo/web content.

Responsibilities

• Write Python customisations inside the Odoo framework for multiple business domains.
• Grow in-house ownership by migrating routine development from external partner.
• Debug and diagnose issues by reading and understanding unfamiliar code.
• Plan and lead the upgrade to a newer Odoo version with deliberate evolution.
• Collaborate with the external partner to review and test implementations.
