Job summary

B Futurist is seeking an experienced Odoo developer to write Python customisations across Trading, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance and HR. You will take ownership of the system in collaboration with a specialist partner, debugging issues and guiding the upgrade path for future versions.

You will work in a hybrid setup with one day per week from home, and remote options for candidates outside the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Odoo v17+ in production environments.
• Strong Python object‑oriented design and data structures knowledge.
• Experience with ERP integrations and migrations is essential.
• Solid PostgreSQL querying, data modelling and performance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Write Python customisations inside the Odoo framework for Trading, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance and HR.
• Move in-house development ownership from a partner and grow it further.
• Debug and explain issues in unfamiliar code and coordinate fixes.
• Lead the next Odoo version upgrade by reviewing carry‑overs and rebuilds.
• Write specifications and test plans when collaborating with a partner on larger projects.
