Job summary

Zanders seeks a (Senior) Manager Non-Financial Risk to lead national and international client engagements, advise on governance, risk frameworks, and regulatory compliance, and drive business development within the Dutch and international markets.

You will mentor consultants, shape the NFR proposition, and stay abreast of regulatory developments, delivering high-quality outcomes for financial institutions worldwide.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, (Business) Informatics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable field.
• 5+ years (Manager) or 8+ years (Senior Manager) of professional experience in consulting and/or financial institutions with a strong focus on Non-Financial Risk and banking regulation.
• Proven experience in managing client projects and leading teams.
• Strong understanding of regulatory expectations relevant to NFR (e.g. governance, controls, operational risk, resilience, outsourcing).
• Solid project management skills and a structured, analytical way of working.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver national and international client engagements in the area of Non-Financial Risk.
• Advise financial institutions on NFR topics, including governance, risk frameworks, internal controls, operational resilience, outsourcing risk, and regulatory compliance.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for project delivery, including planning, team coordination, quality assurance, and stakeholder management.
• Drive business development activities, including proposal writing, client presentations, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Contribute to the further development of Zanders’ NFR service offering and thought leadership.
• Monitor regulatory and market developments and translate them into actionable client insights.
• Mentor and coach consultants and senior consultants, supporting their professional and personal development.
• Actively build and maintain a strong professional network within the financial services industry.
