Job summary

Netrouting, Inc. in The Hague is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to own routing policy and edge hardening across the AS6206 backbone. You will work with multi-vendor platforms (Nokia 7750, Arista 7280, Juniper MX) and shape BGP, RPKI/ASPA, and capacity planning across PoPs worldwide.

You will lead routing policy, enforce RPKI-ROA/ASPA, design 100G/400G uplinks, and collaborate with the platform team on BYOIP, BGP sessions, and anycast, while owning post-mortems and fixes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operating production BGP at a transit, ISP, hyperscaler, or large-scale CDN.
• Hands-on Nokia, Arista, and/or Juniper Junos, comfortable in CLI, comfortable in YAML/Ansible too.
• Working knowledge of RPKI, IRR filtering, and at least one of segment routing or traffic engineering.
• Operator’s instinct: you read other people’s configs and reach for git-blame, not for a meeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead routing policy (route maps, AS-paths, communities) and document the playbook for on-call.
• Drive RPKI-ROA / ASPA enforcement on every announcement we accept and originate.
• Design capacity for 100G/400G uplinks and IXP peerings, with a clear failure-mode story.
• Partner with the platform team on the netr CLI’s networking primitives, BYOIP, BGP sessions, anycast.
• Own post-mortems for every routing-related incident, write them, learn from them, ship the fix.
• Implementation of Internet Port, DDoS Protection and Ethernet Services products.

Own routing-policy, peering, and edge-hardening for our Tier-1 backbone — bring opinionated takes on RPKI, ASPA, and capacity planning.

We’re looking for an experienced network engineer to take ownership of routing policy and edge hardening across the AS6206 backbone.
