Job summary

A major service provider in Eindhoven is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to manage datacenter and WAN infrastructure, deploy EVPN-VXLAN fabrics, and troubleshoot Juniper equipment. The ideal candidate will have a background in enterprise networking with JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP certification or be willing to obtain one, along with scripting skills in Python and Ansible. Qualifications

Senior Network Engineer

Copaco Cloud BV is a leading service provider with data centers in the Netherlands and Belgium. We manage a multi‑site infrastructure with EVPN‑VXLAN fabrics, VMware enterprise environments and high‑performance networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage datacenter and WAN infrastructure.
• Deploy EVPN‑VXLAN fabrics (CLOS architecture with spine/leaf).
• Operate and troubleshoot Juniper equipment (MX routers, QFX switches).
• Configure BGP peering with carriers and upstream providers.
• Implement network segmentation and security policies with VMware NSX.
• Automate network management using Ansible, Python and modern tooling.
• Maintain documentation in NetBox (IPAM/DCIM).
• Collaborate with system engineers on VMware NSX integrations.
• Participate in 24/7 on‑call rotation.

Qualifications

• JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP certification or willingness to obtain.
• Several years of enterprise/datacenter networking experience.
• Hands‑on Juniper JunOS (MX/QFX platforms).
• Knowledge of BGP (eBGP/iBGP, route policies, communities).
• Experience with EVPN‑VXLAN and similar overlay technologies.
• Proficiency in Layer 2/3 troubleshooting.
• Experience with Linux CLI and scripting skills (Python, Ansible).
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Nice‑to‑haves

• Experience with VMware NSX.
